Thank you to Sam Mertens for choosing the Village of Sussex for his Eagle Scout project this year!
Sam chose to build dugout shelters for diamonds 1 and 2 at Armory Park. As a former Jr. Charger baseball player, he recognized the need for shelter from a player perspective.
Sam worked with quite a few community partners to make this project a reality.
